Thanks to a commenter I was able to capture for posterity some very lax Academy propaganda Evening Mail attention to detail!

Latest fact: at £135 k, douglas blackledge is the highest paid headteacher in england. The next highest paid is sally coates, head of the flagship burlington danes school. She earns 15 k less than doug, 120k, and has spent every hour god sendr to work with the community to turn the school around.

I hope we start seeing some results from having the highest paid Head, soon.
I fully support the school but cannot believe what is unfolding in such a short space of time.
Have the sponsors got their heads in the sand? Or is does the supply teacher situation help them not have to make anyone redundant this year.
Oh I think I may have answered my question.

Meanwhile some of the pupils in this school are getting the roughest deal ever. The trouble is it won't get any better until they have 1200 pupils and the threat of redundancy subsides. So I calculate that will be most of my child's education absolutely b******d up. When will they realise that despite supposidly poor rankings in the league tables there were some particularly good teachers who we are losing and going to lose, to be replaced by supply teachers if the current trend is anything to go by. Those past league tables will look absolutely fantastic in comparison to the downward trend that will ensue if something is not done quickly.

We were promised the earth, so far we've only been given the Shetland Isles.

Mr Lee's paper is at last abandoning al pretence of fairness if its new colour scheme for the stupid Klass advertisements is anything to go by.

poll in evening mail for 1/2 site academy shows the 1 site option is winning 63% / 37%
