MC2 Limited the Mancunian PR company employed by Furness Academy Limited to run their web site and other public relations has been very busy.
At long last they have figured out how to stop the section links showing blank pages. It's only taken them the best part of the year but never mind at least they are learning, at the taxpayers expense of course.
Sadly the same cannot be said of the new gallery pictures. On most web sites clicking on a picture opens a tab or a window containing a bigger version of the same picture. Not in MC2 Limited's world.
Click on any picture on this page and it will open a SMALLER picture than the one on the page!
If anyone from Furness Academy Limited would care to come on here and defend the dumb Mancunian company then please feel free.
UPDATE 12-30 pm 10-11-09
Somebody is trying to fix the picture problem. They've got a picture of the north site reception working but that's it for now.

I had noticed that about the pictures. I thought it would be sorted by now but apparently not, as you have pointed out. I am not sure what MC2 are doing but the upkeep of the academy website is appalling. I am sure we have plenty of capable teachers or staff who could do a far better job. The total lack of personality of the website screams this fact. Our old school website was in a different league.
The sooner it is taken out of MC2's hands, the better.
Looking at furness college website, and a large Logo for the Academy is on there, which then leads to the Academy website, who runs the colleges website. It is alot friendlier and has plenty of imformation
MC2 should have a look because the academy website is diabolic - a complete waste of internet space.
As of this morning, Sat 14th, MC2 haven't managed to sort the open evening gallery out.
I have Year 10's who could sort this in minutes.
Why haven't MC2 been sacked and replaced by staff and pupils who actually know what they are doing?
