Perhaps it's just me but they all look like commercial office buildings and not schools and perhaps that's intentional. If the education of everyone is to be flattened on a mythical level playing field it has to involve dumbing down as the lowest common denominator always wins then it makes sense to have schools looking like colleges looking like office buildings, supermarkets or shopping malls.

And yes in the last picture the boy in the middle is actually pictured in the process of throwing something off the stairs. Kids throwing things off open stairs who'd have thought it?

No he is too busy having lunch at the candle factory before courting local politicians and submarine builders. Mr w and mr g will have to take care of it as usual.
In may i wrote on this site to warn all staff, parents and kids what would be happening to education following the academy plans. My warnings are proving true. I am aware of some big changes on the way. Pupil numbers are set to take a nosedive and i urge all of my colleagues to listen to what is being said and planned. I believe that twenty percent wont have jobs come the olympic games unless they teach core subjects
I've heard Dougie's mrs is runnung the show, interfering in everything mr g and mr w do including going over their heads to her fella if she doesn't agree with them. Of course dougie always backs his mrs up. Poor mr w and mr g they're powerless.
I cant wait to see who replaces Liz Moffat at Dowdales! Also is anyone else suspicious as to why the Parkview site is being surveyed for the new build and Thorncliffe isnt or is it just me who thinks that the Academy will become one school on one site just like they always wanted....?

Many reason, but here is a snapshot:
1- it would cost too much to cancel their contract with the phone company.
2 - the land behind thorncliffe is protected.
