Love Barrow?

Lets start with ditching this silly two site Academy idea and just build one big one on Parkview there's plenty of room. Then lets bring George Hastwell school back into Barrow as the savings and efficiencies of having one massive learning village are too good to miss out on. Then there is the Roose fields medical centre, church combo lets get that onto Parkview.
Greengate, Cambridge, Newbarns, Dane Gyhll, St James's, Roose primaries can all be co-located into a big Furness Academy Limited primary campus on Parkview.  We  will also accept  any number of nurseries co-locating as one site means that it's much easier to drop children of different ages off in one go so we can get back to our morning TV shows.

Naturally all on site facilities will be open for 'community' use so it makes sense on every front. We could even co-locate the sixth form and Furness colleges on the 62 acres of green grass which surrounds Parkview.

Think of the opportunities. All those 'outlying' school and college sites to be flattened and sold off to create cardboard box 'executive' clone houses which Barrovians are so fond of. The vested interests could make their cash and leave.

What a result.

And you could easily get away with this because... well you know why.
Because it's people assume 'It's going to happen anyway so why fight it?'

In that vein a word in the shell like of the developers of the new nuclear power station?
Don't try and convince the Millomites that it's a good idea?
Just hop across the Duddon there is a town here which will let anything happen so come on over.
Barrow is the obvious choice as it is so compliant. Just give them 10% off their electricity for 12 months or a free energy monitor or something and that's it they are bribed into submission.
