Here's The People Behind The Education 'Brief'

I have had a dig around to find out a bit more about these people and how they ply their trade and surprise surprise there are real religious evangelicals amongst them!

As you will know religion is usually used in areas of 'deprivation' to give the 'poor' something to cling to in hard times. Well obviously Barrow is seen by the government and the County Council as being very deprived as they have brought in the religious evangelicals to spread succour all over the town and take 1800 of our poor children under their 'benevolent' wing.

There is a strong and disturbing evangelical thread running through this scheme. It is no coincidence in my book that there are so many lies being told and truths being spun. The evangelical brigade have their own agenda as does every religion.

Anyway here's the details and some insights into their thinking that I have been able to uncover.
Let me know what you think in the comments.

Meet Rob Gwynne
Rob Gwynne is Head of School Development and Deputy Secretary of the National Society. He leads the development of the Church's statutory education provision (in partnership with relevant Government Departments), continuing the Church's ambitious expansion programme for secondary schools, particularly through the academies programme.

The Church's new Head of School Development and Deputy General Secretary to the National Society is Dr Rob Gwynne, formerly an education consultant for business services provider Mouchel, where he advised on the development of a large number of academy projects and managed a number of multi-school improvement initiatives
DR ROB Gwynne, a former head teacher and education consultant, has been appointed head of school development at the Board of Education.
Dr Gwynne was principal of Wycliffe Community College, Leicester, and Longsands College, St Neots, before becoming an educational consultant for the business-services provider Mouchel. He managed the consultancy's work with faith academies and school improvement initiatives.

So Rob Gwynne is not only a educational evangelical he is a religious one as well!
Explains an awful lot.

Since September I have been on secondment from my post as Head of The Deanery C. E. High School, Wigan to work as National Schools Development Adviser for the National Society. The focus of my work is to support new church schools who apply for one of the NS Change Management Ethos grants. I have met some remarkable Christians working in schools with very different backgrounds and traditions all over the country. Many schools are in socially and economically deprived areas and all face the challenge of making their new schools live and breathe Christian values to better serve their pupils and local communities.
These three schools give a snapshot of the very exciting work taking place in over forty new church secondary schools:

So there we are yet another religious and educational evangelical who is behind the rubbish that the Education Brief if full of. These people are as bad as the Vardy Evangelicals at Dougs former school. They are hell bent on saving the deprived Barrovians and their children. It shocking and very worrying that they have got into bed with the sponsors and the civil servants who seem to be in awe of their 'greatness'.
They are NOT the sort of people I want anywhere near my sons education.

Meet
Enid Fraser
She is the ex-head of Parkview where she was in charge for 9 years.
"Far from aligning with an externally imposed agenda, you have an internally derived agenda with external support and interest... As a school, you then have a new pair of eyes, a different imagination working with you, shaping ideas together, challenging your thinking, helping to drive the process and making new links."
Enid Fraser,
Head teacher, Parkview
School, Barrow-in-Furness

She said this while she was working behind the scenes to totally dismantle Parkview school. In fact she spent an awful lot of her time at Parkview saying one thing whilst planning the end of everything Parkview stands for!
She is a governor of Furness College
She is a member of the Furness Education Consortium.

Youth Parliament - Invite John Macilwraith to next C&YPWG meeting

So there you have it people. These are the people who have taken it upon themselves to get together somewhere and totally redesign the education of 1800 Barrovian children without asking a single one of them anything.
They have not spoken to over 2900 Barrovian parents and carers.
They have not spoken with ANY of the teachers at the three schools.
Two of them are religious evangelicals as well as educational evangelicals and highly paid consultants.

Who hired them?
Who chose these particular people?
Who approved that decision?
What part did Moira Swann play in getting this Cabal together to plan in secret the total destruction of three of Barrow's secondary schools?

This sickens me to the core!!!!!

It would be interesting to hear from anyone on this list as to why they feel they are so grand and superior as to plan the future education of our children without consulting staff at current schools (totally disillusioned with Mrs Fraser, whom I once thought was a good headteacher), or indeed parents and pupils. Given that it is not a school we have actually chosen to send our children to it's disgraceful, really it is.

Our schools, pupils, teachers and parents have been sold down the river by Mrs Enid Fraser and Co. What a despicable woman she really is. Only thinking about herself and her future, she should never have held the accolade of Head Teacher of such a wonderful and successful school.

If i wanted my children to have a evangelical education I would follow the religion myself, Who are you to preach to us about your education believes.

Like private schools, do sponsered schools not have to follow the National Curriculum.

Like all religions, I respect them and in what you believe, but do not preach and try to pass your believes to those who do not wish to follow.

I also thought Enid Fraser to be a good Head Teacher, but it shows how a `pay packet` can change things to suit yourself, and soon forget what you have just left and, I thought, believed in?????

Where is Blackledges Christian Values -- Adultary, Lying, Deception,

I can not believe what I am reading, these are not church schools. The schools and parents of these children have taught and brought up good children so far, what are they planning to do.

Enid Fraser should have been alot clearer of her intentions within the academy structure instead of acting out the Retiring Teacher.

this is a total sham!!!

Do not be surprised in Enid Fraser's part in all of this fiasco.
I understand that the four newly elected independant councillors wrote to all of the Parkview governors in early June 2008 warning them of the grave consequences of handing over Parkview to the Academy, and she sat on these personal letters for 7 weeks, only releasing them on the last week of term at the governors meeting with all the usual junk mail.
Walney School played their part well in this little conspiracy. They wouldn't even tell the Independant councillors the names of their governors until forced to do so by thev DCSF! Presumably they did not want to lose their share of the academy spoils (new sports hall etc).
This is not conspiracy theory, this is conspiracy (documented) fact.
Meanwhile the leaking vessel, the S.S. Furness Academy heads into the eye of the storm, with a stoker on the bridge.
God help the kids.
